Our client is a fast-paced, dynamic, Wealthtech leader with 17 offices around the world. They are looking for a data Engineer for the data architecture team. As a data engineer within the team you would focus on the global data platform and the architecture of analytics projects.
Role
- Develop scripts and tools to automate ETL processes and orchestrate data workflows.
- Design and maintain efficient and scalable data models to meet the needs of analysis and reporting.
- Create robust and scalable systems for data ingestion, processing and storage from various sources.
- To do that you would need to be proficient at python and SQL, having basis of cloud data architectures and data management.
- We are working towards the future data platform that would help all business areas to thrive. We are taken the principles from Data Mesh organization and Data Lakehouse architectures.
- there is a huge challenge in front of us to get to that platform, but it is a huge opportunity to grow and learn.
Qualifications
- Python and SQL proficent use.
- Experience on data cloud architectures.
- Google Cloud Services (Bigquery, Composer, etc)
- Good academic background (degree preferred but not required)
- Bachelor/master´s degree in Computer science or related field.
